Björnvallen is located in the prime ski
area of Sweden, the
Åre Mountain Region. Just at the foot of
the mountain
Välliste, close to Åre where the
international Alpine Ski
Cup is held.
Closest village with train station, grocery
shop and candle factory to
visit is Undersåker 8 km (5 miles) away.
The little town of Åre is 20km west with
ski slopes, shops, banks
liquor shop and health care.
The little town of Järpen, situated 20 km
east has the same kind
of services.
In both towns the Church of Sweden
(protestant) have services several
times every week there is also a small village
Chapel at Vallbo.
Travel
to
us
You travel easily to us by train, bus, car,
air and even by snow mobile.
Take the train to Undersåker Station and
a taxi from there to our
hotel.
There are Flight connections and transfer both
to and from
Östersund/Åre Airport, about one
hour transfer. You can also
fly to
Vaernes outside Trondheim in Norway and
tranfer to us with bus and
taxi, 1,5 hours away.
Transportation
If you travel by car there is a 7-8 hour drive
from Stockholm and 9-10
hours from Gothenburg.
